DUI / DWI Defense

DUI/DWI Defense Attorney: Irmo, South Carolina

When a police stop of your car results in a DUI citation and arrest, the consequences you face can be serious. Consequences of a conviction may include an automatic suspension of your license and thousands of dollars in fines.

If you or a family member has been charged with drunk driving, it is important for you to retain the services of an experienced DUI/DWI defense lawyer as soon as possible.

Contact Lord Law Firm, LLC, at (866) 603-6656 or (803) 932-6126 or e-mail us to get started on your defense against those DUI or DWI charges.

Even if you have been arrested and charged, you still have constitutional rights, among them to challenge the evidence against you. An attorney will make sure that your rights are protected. The biggest mistake people can make is speaking to an attorney only after the police have finished their interrogation.

It is critical that you speak to an attorney before you do anything else. It is by far the best way for me to protect your rights, your driver's privileges and your peace of mind.

Facing Charges Does Not Mean Facing Conviction

When you are facing drunk driving or drug and alcohol charges, time is of the essence. Once you contact me I will move swiftly to investigate the charges against you. I will use my knowledge and experience as a former police officer and prosecutor to test every aspect of the case against you. This may include challenging the Breathalyzer or blood test evidence, looking at the videotape of your arrest and/or interrogation, and reviewing police records and court filings. During my investigation, I will make sure that the police did not violate your rights.

The defense of every DUI / DWI charge is unique because everyone’s circumstances are unique. There are many effective ways to challenge the evidence against you. With my experience and knowledge in DUI/DWI defense, I find the weaknesses in the prosecution's case and use them to reach the best possible outcome for you. As part of my commitment to you I will work with you to find the best and most reasonable solutions, respecting your decisions on the objectives to be pursued in your case, as permitted by law and the rules of professional conduct, including whether or not to settle your case.
